Introduction

  • “Brick Daddy” is a simulated autonomous mobile robot capable of installing basket weave patterned brick flooring on top of a level subfloor.
  • The simulation was developed using the ROS meta-operating system, Gazebo simulation software, and Python programming language.
  • Development of “Brick Daddy” was a primary component of UNM’s ECE 595-008 course taught by Dr. Rafael Fierro.
